Minas’ interests include all facets of art, design, Greek mythology, music, philosophy, running, sports, and disc golf. His art experience spans a wide variety of media: Acrylics, carving, ceramics, charcoal, digital art, gouache, graphite, oils, pen & ink, photography, print making, sculpture, stained glass, watercolor and video.
Minas currently works as a freelance graphic designer primarily focusing on print and web communications, media using Flash® and poster art.
He recently worked for the past year at Wiskirchen Studios in Kalamazoo, Michigan where as a restoration artist; he brought new life into broken and worn religious artifacts, stained glass windows and church iconography.
Previously, he worked as lead production graphic artist for Debiak Consultants, Kalamazoo, Michigan where he created books, charts, posters, and large diagrams of Internet marketing plans for international pharmaceutical and healthcare companies.

Minas has studied computer imaging, drawing, graphic design, Flash® development, film & digital photography, painting, architectural drawing, ceramics and sculpture. He is well versed in Mac computers and products and has a good working knowledge of PC systems. He is proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat & Acrobat Distiller, Flash, Painter, Lightroom and Photomatix Pro. He also has a working knowledge of Quark and Microsoft Office.

Minas won 2nd place at KVCC Art Show for color photography. He was a Varsity Athlete in Cross Country and Track at Vicksburg High School. He was a Drum Line section leader in the Big Red Machine and was one of 5% of Boy Scouts who have earned the rank of Eagle Scout. He is also fluent in American Sign Language.
